It's nice to have monitoring within the jail, (i.e. nrpe). It's also nice to be able to ssh into the jail (sshd). It's nice to have them running on the host looking into the jail. I'm taking the 'everything for the jail is in the jail, including monitoring' approach. I notice that nrpe is already installed and running. Perhaps I only need to add configuration to Nagios. |
